Enrollment
Applicants must:

Demonstrate basic English and math competency (minimum 80%)

Pass CORI background check

Provide a negative TB test or chest X-ray
Meet facility health requirements prior to clinical placement

Nursing Assistant
Home Health Aid (HHA)
To receive a CSHTS Nursing Assistant Training (NAT) graduation certificate, students must meet all of the following requirements:

Attend all required classroom instruction

Complete all weekly study guides and weekly quizzes
-
Attend all scheduled skills laboratory sessions
-
Successfully pass at least four (4) of the five (5) program examinations with a minimum score of 75%

Successfully complete the required clinical rotation when scheduled
Students will only be permitted to participate in clinical rotations after achieving a minimum score of 75% on at least four (4) of the five (5) examinations.
To receive a CSHTS Home Health Aide (HHA)-only graduation certificate, students must:

Attend all required classroom instruction

Complete all weekly study guides and weekly quizzes

Attend all scheduled skills laboratory sessions

Successfully pass at least two (2) of the five (5) program examinations with a minimum score of 75%
